Ho Hum

Nothing really going on right now. I've finished most of my Christmas shopping (Thank you, Internet!) and I have only one more person to shop for. I would have gotten it last night, but I was an idiot and totally forgot the give the bank my new address when I moved. So I tried to order the gift, and the website rejected the transaction because the addresses didn't match up. So I have to wait until Monday to call the bank, change the address, and hope I can order the thing that night.

Been playing video games instead of writing here recently - shame on me, but Castlevania is just so irresistable. I've been bouncing back and forth between Curse of Darkness and Harmony of Dissonance, and just for the record, whoever designed the layout of the castle in Harmony deserves to be shot. The same goes for the music composer. The castle's layout is chaotic and forces you to do a ton of backtracking, and the music sounds like something from the 8-bit era. Aria of Sorrow, which was released around the same time on the same system (Game Boy Advance) has a much better soundtrack and castle layout.

Eventually, I'll put the games down to write more than a couple sentences on AMoS Chapter 3-3. If I can get moving on it again, I could have Part 3 done pretty quick as it will only have about 4 or 5 chapters. It's the filler section between Leon's death at the end of Part 2 and the start of the Castlevania series at the start of Part 4. I'm sure some people will freak out though because the first game mentioned in that section is Legends, which IGA had retconned, and which I am totally ignoring, becuase I like the idea of Trevor Belmont being the 1/4 vampire child of Sonia and Alucard and the grandson of Mathias/Dracula. XD

The N64 games as well as Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia are not mentioned except in passing becuase Joachim is sleeping (Like Alucard does). I'm not sure how much of Aria and Dawn of Sorrow will be mentioned. I'll have to figure it out once I get that far.
