I had a reoccurring dream for about 12 years that involved me walking through a haunted house with my family. It's frequency decreased as I got older, and if finally stopped when I was 16.

Now I reoccurring themes in my dreams - such as the child sized Atsushi Sakurai that inspired one of my fanfics - and oftentimes, writing whatever is in the dream is the only way to get the dreams to stop.
