eiahmon | An Odd Little Coincidence

Unless those that browse my journal have been in a closet for the past several days, you are all certainly aware that I've been on a bit of a fixation involving one Edward Gracey from The Haunted Mansion movie by Disney. One of the few things I liked about the movie - other than Edward Gracey - was the setting. I love old houses and would kill to have a house like Gracey Manor, even though I would never be able to afford the property taxes. XD In the dining room, there is a massive table with the heavy wooden high backed chairs. I have sat in those kinds of chairs, and I love them.

Anyway, I just finsihed watching the Dokudanjou Beauty PV and happend to notice something.

Compare if you will, the chairs from The Haunted Mansion and Dokudanjou Beauty:

Again, first the chair from HM, and below that the chair from the PV. Too bad the PV was shot in such lighting, or we might have been able to see the detail better.

I'm sure this is all easily explainable by the simple fact that some factory churns out cheap imitations of such furniture for movies and such. The real thing would be fucking expensive, I'm sure. That said, it goes to show that I am WAY too obsessed with Edward Gracey, but I still think it's a neat little coincidence. XD
