More Fanfic!

Title: The Wrath of Mom
Game: Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
Rating: PG
Genre:> Humor
Disclaimer: Don't own; wish I did though
Summary: The denizens of Dracula's castle have got nothing on Juste's mother.
A/N: I finally got my hands of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance (after four years of looking), bought myself a DS and have been happily been doing nothing but playing it for a week or so. In honor of the occasion, here is my first HoD fanfic, an incredibly short one at that. XD

The Wrath of Mom

"Juste Belmont!"

Juste froze in midstep, halfway through the door of his parents' house. It seemed as though his attempt to sneak in had failed, and his mother was angry.

"Where have you been?!"

"Ummm," Juste hesitated.

"Well?" The woman in question appeared in front of him, her fists resting on her hips and tapping her foot impatiently.

"I had to defeat Dracula, Mom."

"Likely story! Now where you really at?" Her eyes narrowed. "You were running around with that good for nothing Maxim Kischine weren't you?" Before Juste could blink she was standing beside him and had his ear firmly in her grip as she repeatedly cuffed him upside the head. "What have I told you about that boy? Nothing but trouble! I thought I told you to stay away from him!"

"But Mom, Lydie, she was -!"

"And what have I told you about running around with that girl! Totally inappropriate! Unless you plan to put a ring on her finger, then you need to leave her alone!”

“But Mom...!”

“Don’t you ‘But, Mom’ me, young man. Now you go straight up to your room and get cleaned up! You’re filthy, and your clothes...” She trailed off as she took in the state of her son’s clothing, then her eyes widened in horror. “What have you done to your clothes!”

Juste looked down at himself. His once pristine white trousers and bright red coat were torn, filthy, and covered with slime, blood and various other substances that he didn’t want to think about. The sides of the legs were also torn up because he had discovered that sliding was the quickies and easiest way of getting around the castle.

“After I went through all the trouble of making those for you, this is how you repay me! You ungrateful child! Get upstairs, and I don’t want to see you until dinner!”

“Yes Mom...” Juste hung his head once she had released her hold on his ear and slinked up the stairs to his room.

“Save the world, and this is the thanks I get once I get home.” he mumbled as he went up.

“I heard that, young man!”

Sighing in resignation, Juste closed his bedroom door.
